Great Gear!!

We decided to buy my son some better performance gear this year. He is starting to be more in the harder terrain when skiing. He absolutely loves these boots. They are comfy to wear and he can ski all day with no issues.

We paired these up with some Atomic Skis and bindings and his skiing has improved greatly with this gear. He can really carve great and keeps up his speed even in the trees.

This is by far the best gear he has ever owned. Sundance is a great company to deal with as well, they are always helpful and help with any concerns I have.

The only issue I have with the Atomic skis is one of them looks to have a good scratch on the top of it, since we have only been out once with them I am not sure if this was like this from the shop or if they were scratched well skiing. I did notice what I thought was wax where said scratch is when I picked them up but did not think much of them. This does not affect the performance of these skis and I am still impressed out how much it has improved his skiing.

Good work but bad information

In Jan 2019 I got a large groove on one of my Enforcer skis when I hit a rock. In addition, there was a significant chunk on the edge of the ski. When I took the ski in to see about repair I was told there were two 1. remove the edging around the ski, fill in the chunk and replace the edging; 2. fill in the hole (Cure shot?). First option was more than the cost of the ski. I did the second option. I have taken my skis to Sundance for a tune up at least 4 times since then. When I last took my skis in the core shot had fallend out and this time I was told of a third option 3. cut a square piece from the base and fill it in - a permanent fix for about $40. I did not believe the service clerk (due to the initial prognosis) so the manager took a look and confirmed the solution. I asked why I was not told this a year ago when the ski was first brought in but no one could tell me. I opted for the Core Shot this time only because the ski would not be ready with option 3. until after I left for my next trip. _x000D_
I think I need to look for a shop that provides better options.
