Look Good, Feel Good, Ski Good

Look Good, Feel Good, Ski Good

I’m a firm believer in ‘look good, ski good’. Let me start this off by saying style should not trump the proper fitting gear for you and your ability level. How do you know what's proper fitting’ and matched to your ability level? Visit a shop with highly experienced staff, such as Sundance.

Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let's get to the fun part.  Skiing and boarding is just sliding downhill on snow with some wood strapped to your feet; it’s supposed to be fun. Skiing and boarding is an art form. You get to express yourself through the gear you wear and how you slide down the mountain. Your skis/board is your paint brush and the mountain is your canvas. Some of us plaint like Leonardo da Vinci and some of us are more of kindergarten finger painters; but, da Vinci and finger painters alike, are all having fun. Skiing and snowboarding is for EVERYONE!

If you’re stoked about your new kit, you'll feel more confident, comfortable, and motivated to hit the snow. I believe that all of these feelings directly translate to better skiing and boarding. Your confidence will bring you forward and center you over your skis or board. Your increased comfort will allow your body to relax, bringing more flow and style to your skiing and riding. You can’t get better at something if you don’t practice; the extra motivation your new gear gives you to get out will lead to more practice.

So the next time your standing in a shop looking to get your next new piece of gear or apparel, get whats going to make you stoked to get slide downhill.

Now, whether you like the sleek all-black James Bond kit or the neon-glow stick, who cares! Whatever makes YOU happy is going to make you ski better!
