Snowboarder Cambers 101
Knowing what snowboard camber is right for you, can be confusing and overwhelming. There are many different camber to choose from. Let's explore this together.
First off we have the traditional camber, it was the most popular profile years ago. It offers the most powerful and energetic ride. This camber can be more forgiving for beginner snowboarders. example: K2 Antidote and Jones Howler

Hybrid camber nowadays is the most common camber profile. More forgiving ride by lifting the boards contact points off the snow. Example: Jones Mountain Twin

Rocker is the opposite of camber. Rocker floats well in powder and is less catchy at the contact points.Example: GNU park pickle

Hybrid rocker lacks some of the energy and stability of other profiles. It catches free playfulness and floats well in powder. Example: C2 profile: Libtec, GNU and Roxy.

Flat camber offers stability and edge hold of a camber with more forgiving all around ride. You usually find this camber profile on park or beginner boards.example: Salomon Pulse.

Directional camber/set back the camber is moved back behind the front foot. Might be more catch free and better in powder. example: Nidecker Beta and Jones Hovercraft.
