The Marker Body Vest Hybrid MAP is the highest level of body protection and comfort, designed to provide effective protection for body parts at greatest risk for injury without compromising on the freedom of movement necessary for winning runs. Thanks to the unique MAP technology this is a level 2 protection in an ultra-thin material, less than 16 mm are necessary to fulfill the tough EN1621-2:2014 standard for protective garments. Tailored to a woman’s anatomy the height of the kidney belt can be adjusted to reflect the height of the individual’s spinal column length, and is removable: the back protector can be worn without the vest for racing. In a crash extra spinal column protection provides greater security against pointed or sharp-edged objects, while MAP pads on the front and sides of the rib cage provide additional protection. The mesh vest fits like a second skin, while the materials are highly breathable and designed to draw moisture away from the body. MAP, or Multi-Impact Adaptive Polymer is a closed-cell foam with an extremely low specific weight compared to previous protection materials. This temperature stable foam is pleasantly soft and flexible under normal conditions, providing unprecedented freedom of movement and comfort.
